On 12th of March 2025, Voices For Labour joined SEATINI UGANDA & other CSOs under the #InvestmentCoreGroup engaged with the uganda Investment Authority’s Investment Promotion team on the critical need to review the Investment Code Act, 2019. As a coalition advocating for investment policy frameworks that promote sustainable and equitable development, we emphasized the importance of aligning the Act with global best practices on sustainability, human rights, and climate action. Our call to action is an urgent review and update of the Investment Code Act to ensure that Uganda remains a competitive and sustainable investment destination, contributing to long-term economic growth, social well-being, and environmental sustainability
